e-Scanning 3D Scanning measurement laboratory Thanks to the possibility of 3D scanning, we obtain a digital model of an existing detail (Reverse Engineering).
On the basis of a 3D model obtained in this manner, we can carry out any edition process, change the model, and then to make copies of the scanned model using incremental technologies.
e-Prototypy® conducts a process of 3D scanning (measuring point coordinates) using optic system made by GOM ATOS II e. This system provides three-dimensional measurement data for such components as metal sheets, tools and moulds, turbine blades, prototypes, injection and casting moulds. Instead of individual points, ATOS II e records the entire geometry of the components in a surface manner, in the form of high-resolution point cloud. This polygonal network describes the surface and the geometric layout in a highly precise manner.
Application:
- comparison of scanned item with a CAD model (colouristic map of deviations),
- dimensioning of any cross-sections and geometric features on the scanned detail,
- comparison of two identical items with deviation analysis,
- comparison of mould with model and shrinkage analysis,
- dimensional inspection of the first piece,
- surface deviations compared to CAD
- operation control, verification of processing and reproduction of tools,
- digital record and documentation 2D and 3D (stl, step, iges files)
- complete 3D measurement reports,
- digital fitting,
- virtual assemblies and simulations in order to detect collisions,
Reverse Engineering
- designing on the basis of generated triangle mesh with geometric features,
- export of scanning results to files (*.stl, *.iges, *.step, *.x_t),
- 3D modelling on the basis of generated triangle mesh,
TRITOP – optical system for measurement of 3D coordinates
e-Prototypy®offers a supplement for measurement services in the form of mobile system TRITOPCMM for optical measurements of objects the size of up to 20 m, which in a very short time designates, with high accuracy, position of points and visible properties of details, such as:
- surface points and cross-sections,
- geometry parameters,
- holes, penetrations and trims,
- diameters, lengths and angles,
Main functions:
- comparison with CAD data
- control of tolerance range provided for mould/location,
- control of dimensions from CAD drawings,
- first data recording,
Advantages of the TRITOPCMM technology
- complete machine for 3D measurement with minimum hardware expenditure,
- lack of contact with the object during measurement,
- very high accuracy, also in the case of large items,
- lack of abrasion, lack or accuracy reduction,
- simple operation,
- independence from ambient conditions,
Technical specification of TRITOPCMM
- camera resolution: 21 million pixels
