DMLS (Direct Metal Laser Sintering)

The DMLS technology for direct metal laser sintering is the latest incremental technology, allowing to make product directly from digital record CAD 3D, using metal powders. We possess a EOSINT M270 device made by EOS, with working chamber of 250x250x215 mm. The thickness of the modelling layer is 0,020mm. It is possible to make product from three various basic materials, i.e.: tool steel 1.2709, stainless steel 1.4542 and bronze DM20. This technology allows to make high-precision prototype models of the aforementioned materials, as well as fully functional and durable products, e.g. tool or elements of injection moulds, including those equipped with conformal cooling ducts.
